How much Coaching do you get?

Postby pbsmick » January 5th, 2012, 7:00 pm

I train for 1 hour every Monday with my coach then have a hit for a further 2 hours then have a hit on Wednesday and Thursday nites. I would like to make it at least 3 to really improve my game.

Thoughts? :?

Very important to have good coaching and not just by someone who tells you they are a 'coach'. Unfortunately that doesn't usually come cheaply so I understand the difficulty.

Thanks for the reply. I like having my coaching sessions. I pay $30 an hour which is aa standard charge I think. Most higher ranked players like Simon Gerada and Miao Miao charge up to $50 per hour but you are taking advice from well respected and experienced players.

Also im doing the ice baths after my sessions on Monday nites. I get 2 bags of ice from the servo on the way home then do them after a quick shower. It is very painful, I stay in for 11 mins but the results are worth it. My legs don't ache the next day which is tuesday the day I play pennant.

Phil, your photo at the top of the page is giving me the heebie-jeebies...your follow-thru is going under your eyes! :o Any chance you can replace it with a technically more pleasing shot (your bat finishing above your left eye would be nice)? 8-)

How has the coaching been at the WSA William? What have you fixed in your game?
