Hi Biagio, welcome on board.

Aside from your prospects the big question at Coburg is...Will Duncan be playing at the Olympics? Any insight here?

Hi Biagio, are you playing any comps this year?

Also could explain the service rule in AWD's?

Thx for your message/post.

After the Olympics are done I will be playing tournaments but most are scheduled early in 2012, namely Arafura in Darwin and then regional championships at a date and location to be announced shortly.

Service in AWD is different for wheelchair athletes. The service must in direction go off the end of the table in direction regardless of how many bounces. It cannot go off the side of the table or a let call will result. During a rally though it's free for all.

At the recent AWD Nationls Gold went to the following.
Andrew Browning Class 1-5 Male
Rosalie Turnbull Class 1-5 Female
Rebecca McDonnel Class 6-7
Natan Pellissier Class 8
Joel Coughlan Class 10

Para News

Postby biagio » May 30th, 2012, 2:27 pm

Hi All,

Some exciting AWD news from Europe. Both our female Olympic representatives Melissa Tapper and Rebecca McDonnell have been competing in the Slovenian and Slovakian Open. I'm pleased to write that Melissa won 2 silver medals and 2 Bronze medals respectively whilst Rebecca got some really tough match experience in preparation for the Paralympics.

Cheers
